RUSAL RAS net profit plummets to 5.333 bln rbl in 2022

MOSCOW, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL plummeted by 96.4% on the year to 5.333 billion rubles in 2022, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Friday.

Revenue shrank by 42.4% to 93.661 billion rubles, and sales profit contracted by 43% to 91.368 billion rubles. Pretax profit also plunged by around 96.4% to 5.339 billion rubles, but other income jumped to 14.588 billion rubles from 648.258 million rubles.
